Pare promitator.
Nici pana in ziua de azi eu nu inteleg de ce alianta PSA nu dezvolta ceva mai bun decat 207 RC si C4 VTS ,care nu sunt tocmai in fata in clasele lor,avand in vedere experienta care o au in WRC...

Nici eu nu ii inteleg , dar sa stii ca prin 95-96 au un motor 2.0 turbo ,la vremea aia destul de potent (ma rog initial avea oar 150 de cai) insa din cate am vorbit cu cei care l`au modificat , internele+turbiona stock rezista la 250 + insa dupa intervine problema la partea de ambreiaj ! deci resurse sunt ! Doar ei stiu de ce isi bat joc de brand (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
Exista un "dar" in toata treaba asta , dar daca este sa o luam istoric , ei mereu cam au lasat partea de motoare mai "low" asa , cx`ul tatalui meu din 1985 , echipat cu motor 2500 turbo dezvolta doar 167 de cai si seria ce a urmat cu intercooler si spanac tot cam 170 de cai , insa cu interne foarte puternice , rezista la 280 + fara sa te agiti foarte mult ,cutie puternica tot ce trebuie ... probabil ne`au lasat sa ne descoperim talentul intra`le motoarelor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Unde vezi ca e motor de gti? E 1.6T-ul de pe mini. Doar de putere ziceam ca e cam pe acolo.

Stau si ma intreb, daca la DS3 au facut treaba asta, oare vor scoate si ei un DS4 in sfirsit 2.0T, eventual AWD, sa ne faca si pe noi sa intelegem la ce le trebuie sa domine atita in wrc?

Mituc....cuvantul citroen si gti....nu sunt binevenite in aceiasi fraza...nici macar in acelasi post...deci....intelegi tu ideea.
Puteai sa spui un citroen ds3...cu puterea unui A3..sau FR...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Oricum o sa fie interesanta masina....sunt curios c planuri au pt ds4...

Ce bombete de masina o sa fie si asta... Puterea si cuplul unui golf 5 gti si 1165kg!!


Cred sau cel putin as vrea sa ma insel , ca acest motor este inpins destul de mult , cei 1600 de cmc , nu pot face fata unui 2000 , nici odata in nici o viata anterioara sau ulterioara , nu se pot compara cele doua .......faptul ca este usoara este un avantaj major , dar daca iei exemplele de GTI -uri impinse spre limitele lor superioare , deja nu mai are rost sa vorbesc, totusi fiind un mare admirator de Citroen mai ales modelul DS 21 , inclin sa cred ca masina va avea un cuvant de spus , pe piata

Da, nu compari 1.6 cu 2.0 dar...nu compari nici taxele si nici consumul....

Fix degeaba puterea aia. Nu zic ca nu e fun sa stii ca ai peste 300 cp la roata intr`o masinuta ca aia, da` da in gol in orice treapta. E pur si simplu inutil sa ai pe puntea fata puterea aia ca sa numai zic de consum, fiabilitate, pneuri. Plus ca trebuie bagati bani in frane suspensii bari stabilizatoare etc etc.

Uite da direct la 3:40 sa vezi ce plecari penale are...cre k si roller il face (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Think of a road-ready rally machine, and what pops into your head? Likely the Subaru Impreza WRX STI or Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, right? Well Subaru hasn't won the World Rally Championship in seven years, Mitsubishi in eleven. In fact, neither is even trying anymore: Both have withdrawn from the championship. No, that territory is Citroen's to claim. The French automaker (with its star driver Sebastien Loeb) have been the reigning champs since 2004, but Citroen hasn't really capitalized on its gravel-drifting prowess with anything even approaching what of the WRX and Evo. Until now.

Although the current C4 Loeb has won the past three world rally championships in remains in active duty for another season – with former F1 world champion Kimi Raikkonen taking the wheel in the junior team – after that the new rally-spec DS3 (previewed in a batch of spy shots a few months ago) will take its place. From the looks of things, however, Citroen isn't waiting around for the DS3 to match the C4's dominance before they roll out the street version.

Following an earlier report last month hinting at the hot DS3's arrival, a handful of photos showing what insiders suggest is the finished product have leaked onto the interwebs. Brought to us by our compadres over at Autoblog Spanish, these shots were recently confirmed as the real deal (and not as photochops as originally suspected) when the same car showed up in other images released (and since retracted) by the factory.

The car pictured features wider wheel flarings housing bigger hoops and riding on a dropped suspension. Sources peg it at 15 millimeters stouter than stock, with NAFTA four-pot brakes front and rear. Under the hood, the 1.6-liter turbo four is tipped to produce between 200 and 210 horsepower, driving through a six-speed manual (the jury's still out on the presence of a limited-slip differential) and likely to the front wheels to propel the DS3 Racing to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds. The Halloween livery may be a love-it-or-hate-it affair, but this is likely what we'll see, if the reports prove accurate at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. For our part, we'll take ours in deep blue, with a big red leaping bull on the side and our names printed above the doors.
